THE THAI CULTURE OPENS UP TO OSHO!

Finally, also Thailand opened up to Osho! Thailand, a conservative, Buddhist country, where talking about Osho happened only discretely and with a low voice not to provocate the reaction of those locals, who saw as strange the practices taught by Him (being so far from their ones).

In fact, besides the Osho books Publisher, Mr. Prapon Phasukyud, his Cooperator and translator of Osho books, from Bangkok, had discovered Osho.

He fell so in love with Him, that he liked to publish a few of His themes; the most adaptable to the Thai mentality and culture.

The concerning books are:

Independently from the fact that these books are in Thai language - incomprehensible to most of the Westerners, so that we can't read these, this outspreading of the Master's voice all over the world - involving even this foreign land, quite closed and conditioned - represents an evolutive step, not only for their mentality, which, in such a way, could expand as never before, but as well for the awareness of collectivity.

In fact, the change of Energy of the new Eastern meditators - even if it is limited - will join to other flashes already existing, coming from mediators of other countries.

It's unavoidable, because the Energy, always moving, is not confined within the limitations of the human intellect or material boundaries, but flows expanding itself everywhere it finds space to spread and to defuse.

Whilst hoping, that also in you, Osho Lovers, the same satisfaction felt by us, have been stired up, we wish best success for this enterprise!

We, the people at Osho Paramdham Meditation Center - Thailand, are appreciating, a lot, the great work and efforts done in this country by the Publisher and his Translators of Osho books, so we contacted the Translators.
We wanted to pay our compliments to the three of them for the introduction of Osho to Thai people, who are used to conceive their spiritual search after the old Buddhist concept that is taught since a millennium and doesn't consider the different behaviour and mentality of the modern man, as well as, for breaking the wall of ignorance.
We remained in touch and promised each other to meet in the next future.
Well. It happened.
The translators, Mr. Prapon Phasukyud, Ph.D. and his wife, Sunit, from BKK, came to our Center, not only to visit it and to get to know us, but also to meditate; to be better introduced into Osho's world and to understand His words and the meaning that lies behind these, better.

We discovered that Prapon and his wife, Sunit; who are working in tandem on the books of Osho, with whom they already fell in love; are a beautiful couple, very much sensitive and in tune between themselves.
When we have met each other, they had already translated the 2 new following Osho books:

EMOTIONAL WELLNESS

In fact, since the first moment that Osho's name appeared on the market, there had been quite a request of Thais, who like to read Him.
It says enough, that only from the first title 6 new editions had been printed out.
Since then it was an ongoing success!
The public is heterogeneous. People of every age and from different social layers are interested in Osho.
It's the first time that it happens to me, to meet persons in the editorial field, who like to comprehend, as much as possible, about the Author, with whom they are involved, through experimenting the content of the books, personally.
I had been very glad, as well, because of the fact that they had felt enthusiastic about the Meditation Camp, in which both had participated.
A beautiful friendship was born and we had spent a certain time for reciprocal discovery, instead of remaining at the surface - just to confirm that when one speaks the language of the heart, all differences of cultures and races are disappearing.
Prapon and Sunit may shower us, in the meantime, with a multitude of new Osho books, so that we can affirm to be one of a few places in Samui, where it's possible to read Osho's texts even in Thai language.
We are happy to contribute to the diffusion of Osho's vision, in this foreign country, where we are pioneers, as well as, to the elevation of the consciousness of Thais, by affecting them with words of wisdom, that are creating resonance in them, just like in other people, in other races, without any boundary, because the expressions are coming from the heart.
We wish, that this beginning, of an awakening interest of Thai readers in themes by Osho proposed, continues spreading out everywhere.
If Osho would observe this, by looking from above (we can imagine), He might say:
"I had been able to insert my vision even in this conservative country.
Well, well, well!"
